Great video. What I got out of this is dry wood will cut down the smoke with the minimum effort. Plus I wanna grill on mine so not sure I want to go for the extra secondary flames to blowtorch my steaks. 😁

QUESTION: When you get wood from Lowes, do you ever planar it so that it's s4s (flat and level on all sides) or do you just say "screw it - it doesn't have to be perfectly straight to make beautiful things"? I find the amount of time it takes to get things s4s and sanding wood is the #1 thing that kills most of my woodworking and DIY projects and... and........ I wanna build things. :(

For stirring paint and stuff I buy a bamboo garden cane and cut it into 9" lengths.

A pair or more of flat crowbars will hold the floor from moving also. Just lay the short end on the edge of the flooring and the long end on top. It will bump the wall and keep the floor in place at the correct spacing. And always check spacing as you install. After a few rows it should resist more

Every wood has its purpose like why would you use MDF on everything . Use specific wood for specific purpose .
